C'est vrai que le chat de Cheshire est cool! Ça doit être marrant à dessiner.

I have to tell you I love your line work, how you manage to convey such detail, depth, and sense of bits of texture with just hatching and simple design work that becomes intricate. There's so much to look at, from the plants to the Art Nouveau-like curling and swirling vines, Cheshire's fur, and Alice's dress and hair. I also love how you draw eyes, even here they're so expressive.

Wow, thank you!! This is such a nice message. I'm glad you enjoy my linework so much, I have so much fun making it...

It really shows. Line work seems so understated when it comes to art and a lot of people forget that you can make something just as dazzling and visually pleasing with only the lines and plain black and white as you can if it was colored. The colors can only compliment the lines, they can't carry the whole weight of a piece.

Ah! that's true. I almsot never really use color. I have a lot of trouble with it. So I compensate with the linework.
