Second try at a Puella Magi Madoka Magica print, inspired in part by Klimt and by this one piece of Sailor Moon art [link]. The first try wasn’t so good, but I kinda like the second try. Not too sure what to do with the colors. Poking at it. Slowly.

Loving the dresses though.

I like the SM image you linked to. I had it as my wallpaper on my work computer once.

And I like the way you do the minimalist colors here. It adds the right amount of focus without over loading the senses.

i just really love the way u draw ;w; I know u wrote that this was inspired partly by klimt
but i feel like your artwork in general has this kind of tapestry feel to it and I find that beautiful TuT

Aw, thanks! I actually love tapestries and old 19e century illustration, so yeah, there's an influence there.

Ooh, I love Klimt! I'm about to do an oil pastel project with my 3rd grade class on Klimt :D I must admit, I've only ever seen half an episode of PMMM. I've been meaning to go back to it.

I like the colors the way they are. I really like the minimalist way you approach color in Nameless, so it makes sense to me that it would transfer over to your other artwork as well.
