This is a postcard I drew of the two main characters of Namesake for the Namesake ([link]) book 2 kickstarter ([link]).

I really love this drawing. First off, I tried to design it like a playing card, since Wonderland is present in the story. Both characters have similar costumes and poses, but they still look different. Elaine is calmer, more confident. Her weapon is the pen. She needs to reflect upon her actions. Emma looks more worried, her weapon is a blade. She’s more of an “attack now, think later” type of person. Both girls have crows. Emma’s looks more fragile then Elaine’s.
